Hello everyone.

I have been reading reviews that say wonderful stuff about both motherboards, but sadly... I'm reading a lot of mixed opinions from people who bought them and now I'm a bit confused.

ASUS Sabertooth: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131736
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD5: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128509

The Gigabyte looks awesome, but I read comments from a lot of people who have a lot of stability issues with the Vcore, besides random BIOS freezes.

I like the ASUS mobo's features, but I read some bad comments too... like RAM issues and stuff like that.

Some advices/recommendations on what would be the best choice? I'm planning to use it with an AMD Phenom II X6 1100T 3.3 GHz Black Edition (or maybe a Phenom II X4) and a single ATI Sapphire 6870. No overclocking at all.

I don't think you have anything to worry about with either board. Just update the BIOS to the latest version on whichever board you buy.

Since you're not overclocking I would go with Gigabyte. If your settings are at "Auto" you shouldn't have any Vcore issues.

If you're into overclocking then I would suggest the ASUS board since it has the new UEFI BIOS which makes it easier to make changes to BIOS settings.

I have a Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H with an AMD Phenom II X6 1055T and it's rock solid.
