I am using Lenovo laptop
I had tried to boot into safe mode so laptop restarted and it stuck on Lenovo logo..
So i used a hidden recovery button on laptop in that menu I choose boot with ipv4 network and it said failed but my laptop started as normal.
So I again go to safe mode by using msconfig through CMD
And now I stuck on Lenovo logo and earlier mentioned hidden recovery trick is not working...So I am stuck on Lenovo logo...
Plz help there is the only option of recovery..(onekey) but I think I will lost the windows anivarsary update and my data..

you can use this to copy data off laptop: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/use-ubuntu-live-cd-to-backup-files-from-your-dead-windows-computer/

why are you trying to get to safe mode?

On another PC, download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB << its a handy boot disc if nothing else

you can use installer to access safe mode:
change boot order so USB is first, hdd second
boot from installer, on 2nd screen after languages, choose repair this pc, not install
choose troubleshoot
choose advanced
choose start up options
hit the restart button
choose a safe mode (it doesn't matter which) by using number associated with it.
PC will restart and load safe mode

you can run start up repair and see if it fixes start up:

boot from installer
on screen after languages, choose repair this pc, not install.
choose troubleshoot
choose advanced
choose start up repair - this will scan PC and maybe fix this - will ask for logon info

if none of this help, copy everything off PC using Ubuntu and do a clean install following https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/1950-windows-10-clean-install.html - when you reach screen asking for licence, click "I don't have a key" and win 10 should auto activate on install.

It should get you past that logo. What model lenova do you have?

I think that ipv4 thing is a boot option for setting laptop to boot off a lan, you should be able to see your boot drive in the same window. It might be that your hard drive is faulty as it should show in boot menu.

There is a chance the start up options menu you need to use to get into safe mode won't be there, so may need to use start up repair at that stage,

your manual is no help to me: http://content.etilize.com/User-Manual/1032062999.pdf
F2 to get into bios at boot

If Windows cannot start, you press Novo button in shut down state, you can go on with "System Recovery" or "One Key Recovery". You can also perform normal startup, enter BIOS or configure boot menu.

might be worth a try but might not go anywhere if you chose normal startup. Gets you into bios. Might want to see if bios boot menu can see the hdd, it should be on the information page or boot tab

yup, my bios shows hdd no problem with that but when i boot with hdd it stuck on lenovo logo..and at startup function keys dont work
It wasnt booting with HDD thats why i use option of boot with ipv4 network controller as that controller was absent i think it automatically cancelled the boot with safe mode and my laptop was booted properly..
But now I am stucked..

I wonder if its swapped the boot method. reading around I saw it can be set to UEFI or Legacy. It should be UEFI but i wonder if it swapped to Legacy, as then it won't be seeing your hdd, Its obvious its having problems seeing the drive or it wouldn't keep losing it.

Should also say something about being set to ACPI as well. I wouldn't swap that if it is.

I couldn't find anything specific for your model. I am not sure whats going on.

I have gone into Bios setup
-In that Boot tab-Boot mode mode is set to [UEFI]
and there is option below EFI
which has two options
Windows boot manager (WDC WD10...HDD)
EFI PXE Network

its seeing your western digital drive alright (that is what WDC stands for) and Windows Boot Manager is what you should be booting off to get to drive. It looks set up to boot off HDD.

When you set windows to boot to safe mode, you didn't turn off any services did you? just went to msconfig and chose the option there? There are easier ways to get into safe mdoe in win 10 without using msconfig

I wonder, put your Win 10 installer USB in while in that menu, it might show it as an option and select it as 1st in the order - some bios only offer USB an option if there is one in PC

So can i make system repair disk from my friends laptop, he is having same brand laptop with windows 10 anivarsary edition updated...
and i will boot with repair disk and repair my pc?

what error is it giving you? Did you try to get to safe mode? it is strange to me that it did all this just cause you tried to restart in safe mode. At least you can boot off the USB, that is a start., you might be best making that ubuntu disk and copy anything off PC you want to save.

Does the repair disk offer the option to reset this PC? As it might be worth a try (you need to backup everything first though as it will reinstall win 10)

i cant boot into safe mode it stucks...The error coming was System restore can not be completed with error 0x800070002 like this
Disk repair was offering
Repair startup-Failed
System Restore -failed
Recover with image-No image on my system
cmd prompt
Change UEFI settings

I have made ubuntu disk Now i will copy data..

cannot find much at all on 0x80007002

I would get a win 10 installer on USB and see if you can find Reset in the advanced startup menu (it looks like https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2294-advanced-startup-options-boot-windows-10-a.html)
boot from installer, on 2nd screen after languages, choose repair this pc, not install
choose troubleshoot
Choose Reset this PC - you should be able to choose keep files/settings, i don't think whatever is causing thsi will be kept in the settings. This option saves anything in library folders. The other choice is wipe entire C drive and start afresh.
Either choice, PC should restart & reinstall win 10

In this repair disk, There is no option for reset pc,Sad for me tough...Now my problem is i dont have that high speed internet to download windows iso through media creation tool...So my Question is can i reset my pc with another windows 10 bootable disk with different version (i dont know the exact version.)

yes, if you have a win 10 install of any version, it should have the menu I was talking about above.

If necessary, you could install win 10 using that if the reset didn't work. then run windows update to get back to version you were on before.

Ok, Normally Its Fresh install..So that can be done by secret recovery button on lenovo laptops, It has recovery that has from manufacturer...it will revert the laptop into factory condition...So I think my anivarsary update is getting removed, i have to update it again....
