safe proxy to improve ping

I have always had ping problems with Guild Wars 2 and had good results with WTFast, but I can no longer use my (free) account with them. I heard about a very cheap service called Mudfish which seems to work, but it seems like a red flag that it is a small Korean company.

Does anyone know if it is safe to use it, in terms of your traffic being spied on or accounts being compromised? Or is it just the same as using anything else since it's just routing through the US like other services do?

routing though yet another company (proxy) is not magically going to make it better. Primary use of proxy is to LIMIT what someone is allowed to do/see on the internet.
If your provider DNS are sub-par, try using google's DNS servers.

There are various VPN/Proxy/whatever services designed to lower/stabilize ping. There are plenty of arguments about whether they are needed or worth it, but that is not the subject of my questions so keep that elsewhere please.
