I have windows 7 ultimate installed but not updated to service pack 1.

The activation key used in it is also used in 7 more computers.

I need to install python 3.7 which needs service pack 1. My question is:
Is it safe to download the window service pack 1 from Microsoft's website and install in in my system or it will corrupt or damage my window?

Yes install Service pack 1, I believe Windows 7 with no service packs has been out of support for many years, you may spend a couple hours updating that PC if it is older, since there will be more updates after service pack 1

If you don't have activation issues now (if activation is your concern), then you should be fine after installing SP1 as well.
I know it's not relevant, but you can still get a fully activated copy of Widows 10 with the media creation tool.

It's safe to install it Windows 7 SP1 but it's not recommended since it hasn't been supported for many years now. Windows 7 was great while it was supported. It will end soon. Windows 10 is your best bet and you can get it for free if you upgrade that PC with the Windows 10 creation tool.
