Question Safe to use 24pin - 14 pin atx adapter?

Hi so I'm just wondering, I have a MOBO with a 14 pin atx connection. Can I use a 24pin - 14pin adapter with any psu on this MOBO.

It seems like a stupid question but it's because this MOBO came with its own power supply (Acer Predator build) and i want to take the MOBO and stivk it in a new case with new PSU etc.

The MOBO is an ACER MS G3-605

Power supply I wish to use is a 600w bronze corsair modular

I know several people have used them so I have to think it's safe.... but only if it's wired correctly.

I've had several electrical adapters (fan Y cables and such) that were mis-wired. I'd check it first to make sure it's wired correctly.

5 star rating over 2k sold, literally the only way I can gauge the quality of adapters atm so I'm guessing they are wired ok.

Thanks mate . I used an adapter for GPU once, blew all the components. Like to ask before hand nowadays!
