Question Safe undervolting for GTX 1070

Hi everyone. I have a question about my GTX 1070 Gaming X. What is safe undervolting limit? I want to lower my load temperatures. In F.E.A.R 1 my temp Is 40 degrees Celsius at 45% fan speed. Are the temps ok?

Those temps are chilly for a GTX 1070 under load. F.E.A.R. 1 is an old game, you probably are only using half of the GPU.

You don't need your fans to spin at that temp. 70C is typical operating temp under high load. The default fan setting don't spin the fans until the GPU reaches 60C I think.

I don't see any reason to undervolt your card.

undervolt doesnt damage anything, it just may result in crashes and failures, then you'll have to raise the V to the normal levels if it fails.

overvolt in the other hand will destroy it.

those temps are gold, u have 0 resons to undervolt,.
