So I was running a YouTube video while running a game as well and my CPU hit around 90 I'm pretty sure that's too hot. Is that normal temp for 2 applications running or is it running hot. My idles are 45 - 55

Solution
Thermal paste issue perhaps. But seems likely its the cooler I agree.

No such thing as safe CPU temperature.

Two things, throttling temperature and shutdown temperature are two you have to be aware of.

On your CPU theyre 90 C and 100 C respectively.

All the best!
You might try reseating the cooler. The idle and load temps are pretty hot. Depending what sort of ambient temps you have. If your ambient room temps are around 22-24c, the idle (if the cpu is truly at 0-1% and not 12-18% or more) is too high at 45-55c. Given the higher than usual idle and load temps I'm thinking your cooler isn't attached well.

If your ambient room temps are much higher like 30-35c then that could also account for the higher than normal temps. The solution there would either be air conditioning of some sort to bring room temps down or the use of a good aftermarket cooler.

A heat wave just ended where i'm at so that could account for the higher temp because this is the first instance of the temp getting that high. I also put a small usb fan near the area of my computer along with my 4 case fans to fight the heat. I used a stress test and at 100% of the 8 cores the average was 88-94

Could I kick up my GPU fans to help with airflow? Until I get a new heat sink?
