Safely Over clocking my Fx 6300

Hello!

I wanted to test over clocking on my Fx 6300, which is on a GA-970A-DS3P Fx Mobo. I'm new to over clocking, so I wanted to know is over clocking this safe, and what are tips to keep it in check?

You won't get very high OC on that MB but that also depends on your CPU cooler and case cooling. With stock cooler maybe up to 4GHz and with some good one probably up to 4.2 - 4.5GHz.
