same laptops different performance

hi everyone

i have bought an hp pavillion ab350ax laptop after one week my friend purchased exactly same laptop from same online marketing site. we both played batman arkham origins on it but using fraps i can easily se that both our laptops has a framerate differnce of 5-6 fps minimum. i have done everything ,same settings,both set on high performance,i jst can,t figure it out and its killin me .
please help if u can

Are you running a bunch of other programs at start up? Did you update all your drivers? If you're using onboard graphics, can you go in to the Bios and increase the amount of memory allocated to the graphics? There are a number of tweaks you can do also. Google "Windows x tweaks" or "speed up Windows x".
