What is love?

Is it attractiveness?
Is it sex?
Is it the money?
Power?
Chemical reaction within the human brain released by neurotransmitters?

Love has to be much more than theses. It has to be greater than the human emotions we process.

Some people discover them as gay after marriage with women and having children. Are you by-born gay or feel that later?

I want to know if gay people convert to gay later form hetero. Also you ever want to change sex to female? Just want to know about your thought.

Honestly, I believe gay people are born gay. The reason you have gay people getting into heterosexual marriages really is because of society. There is a huge social stigma on gays, and I really don't need to convince anyone here I'm sure that it exists. Its just a matter of trying to be "normal". Its unfortunate to the straight people who end up in relationships/marriage with such people, even worse for children who may be a product of it. If the social stigma went away, I don't think you'd see it as much as you do now. I've honestly known I was gay since I was old enough to really understand attraction. Consciously, as far back as I can remember, I can remember being 6 years old attracted to other boys my age.

I faced social stigma myself, some imposed by my family, some self-imposed, thankfully I didn't go down that road that some do. But really, I don't think sexuality is as black and white as people make it out to be. People try to put everyone into groups, gay/bi/straight. I've known straight people I wouldn't really consider to be bi who "experimented" around.

As far as sex changes, no lol. I've never wanted to be anything other than what I am. Actually, I'm somewhat "straight-acting", so I've been told by many people. Most people cannot even tell. I wouldn't want it any other way. I guess too a degree I try too hard to not fit the stereotypical "fashion designer" that Hollywood and other sources have perpetuated over the years. If anything I wish I were more "manly". Sadly, I look like a freakin computer nerd (how ironic that I'm on this forum and a PC tech major?). But I was a car nerd before I was a computer nerd. Chicks who know how to rebuild engines are hot right? Us fabulous boys can do it too! Honestly, I find it sort of disgusting when gay guys dress in drag, talk like in an effeminate voice, and have long "pretty hair". If I wanted to date a woman, I'd be straight. :pfff:

LOL thanks, remember that the next time you get a thread flagged for moderation when I'm hip deep in another AMD v Intel war. :hello:

@ nekulturny, glad to know you are natural gay and has love in mind.

But i dont like gay in my society. They are abuser and hypersexul. Take no offense. Talking from my experience. They just need a gay society. Dont know about them if they are gay born or bi but they are boring.

And where might you live that is full of such violent homosexuals hell bent on abusing every straight person they come across? And what kind of horrible acts of torture have they committed upon you?

If your profile is right, you live in a country that has laws on the books to support both life imprisonment and capital punishment for homosexuality. You'd be hard pressed to convince me that homosexuals are the abusers in Bangladesh.

Seriously, here in the US, many 'gay' people are actually very nice.

You may get whack jobs once in a while, but that comes with every group.

@nek: In many society, it is actually against the law to be a homosexual. Mubin makes his point that the culture he resides in makes it illegal to even be gay publicly. Actual beheadings of men and women who make such claims will be met according to the charges.

Here in the US, you just are weird... Other than that, you are free to do whatever you want. Just don't involve me please. 😉

I know there are many countries that outlaw homosexuality. And really, I hate to be the kind of American who goes around acting like my country is superior to others, but America has skeletons in it's historical closet as well, we once had black people as slaves, we "freed" them, then segregated them from everyone else, it was even illegal for blacks marry whites in some states. Humanity is ever evolving, and while America is not quite perfect either in her treatment of minorities, the fact that countries still imprison and execute people for being gay despite overwhelming evidence that its not a choice people make is to me a sign of a lesser evolved and lesser civilized society.

You know of this?

http://www.pinknews.co.uk/2012/09/05/sydney-christian-doctor-banned-for-prescribing-chemical-castration-gay-cure-to-teen/

Chemical castration because the boy admit that he is gay. That is blatant violation of human right and makes me sick.

I though Australia is one of the more open country for LGBT, but there are still many nutters here.

Love really cannot be defined.

That's horrible! 🙁

Good thing the guy is out of practice. Poor kid.

Looking at the drug of choice, it seems the doc used a counteractive strategy. Instead of a pro-androgenic chemical, he used an antiandgrogen. Wasn't the idea to make him more...IDK...masculine? I do not agree with the doc here on what he did...but c'mon! Really?

No they didnt torture me but they try to abuse me when i was a teen like 14/15 but failed. I didnt even know about gay that time.

My profile is right. Its a secular state. But there is no such law in my country i see for homosexual. I never see anyone arrested for gay. If people get abuse by gay, dont even talk for society. Its like under radar. People will laugh if they know. Actually there is no topic for gay in my country. No one talks about it.

Whatever i say, is my opinion. I dont like them cause they direct approach for sex, not like you who believe in relation and love.(of course not all gay are same) I may not convince other in my country, so how can i convince you.

But i think government should give them separate society like USA. So no more abuse. There are also 3rd gender we called 'Hisra'. They feel free to walk around openly. They have society of them.

@ dogman_1234: There is nothing legal or illegal about gay by law in my country. It is still a social issue. Actually 99% people are believe in book(90% in Qur'an, 8% in Hindu gita and less than 1% in Bible and Buddha). So everyone think that every one is good and stay away from sin forbidden by religion. But there is gay, even religious people are gay.

If you travel in my country you will see nothing. Everything is fine. Cause all under radar. No one will share their experience for society.

Lucky that you weren't abused. But no, I think those gay guys that tried to rape you when you are 14/15 are not just gay. They are pedo rapist gay and it's the pedo and rapist bit that tries to rape you, not the gay bit.
If they are not gay, they would have go for a girl and then, does this mean people will generalised that and hate heterosexual people in general as well? Of course not.
Don't generalised gay people as bad people just because some gay people are bad.
But yes, I think if the society does not acknowledge LGBT existance, then it is going to be difficult for them to find appropriate partners.

Yes, if society doesn't support them then it is difficult for them to find partner. May be thats what happen with them who try to abuse me. Feeling lonely for their partner. Or maybe you are right, they are pedo rapist. I hope government should act before it get worse.

I am not believing all gay are bad. Such as nekulturny, he is a natural gay and he believing in love.

Isn't the worlds already over populated?

I will teach them to be polite, stay out of danger, drink tea for health benefit, drive Mazda, use insect repellent and marry whoever they think is the special someone. That way, they won't listen to me and will do exactly the opposite.
