SAME speed but different timings (NOT mixing) real world experience

Sorry if this has been asked, it's been a pain to find info since most people are asking about mixing RAM into their current system or high speed high timing vs low speed low timing.

What I'm really interested in is what is the real world benefit of having DDR3 1600 at timing 7-8-8-24 vs DDR3 1600 9-9-9-24. How does the user experience change from the same exact speed but different timings?

What, if anything, do you see out of slightly tighter timing? I've been doing a ton more digging and a lot of the posts are from DDR2 days but I imagine would still apply, but at least in that close of a difference in timing you'd only really see it's benefit in benchmarking and video editing?
