1000R is an aggressive curve though.
Most other curved 34" monitors are 1500R or 1800R.

"1000R" means that the screen is 1000 mm = 1 m = 3'1" away from the centre point of the curve.
I'm sitting with my eyes at about that distance to my smaller screen right now, at a quite narrow desk. Many people sit with the screen further away.
