I am trying to use my 4k tv as a monitor for my gaming PC, not as a permanent solution but for a good while.
It looks fine and mostly works but I am having trouble getting the right monitor drivers installed. It's a Samsung TV, so there are no official drivers. The problem is that the generic PnP monitor drivers only support 2 channel audio, I need at least 6, preferably 8, over HDMI.
I had a look at the other window drivers available but they seem to be for lower resolutions.
The TV is the Samsung UE65MU6100K.
My GPU is the GeForce 1080ti.
Any advice no getting Windows 10 to support the screen properly?
