Samsung 860 EVO M.2 SATA not recognized

I’m building a new computer right now. However, when I load my mobo’s BIOS, (MSI X470 Gaming Plus), it doesn’t recognize the M.2 even though I already inserted it into the motherboard. Also, Windows 10 installation media couldn’t recognize it as well. I have no other form of storage besides the M.2. I’m confused as to what to do.

Go into bios and check the Boot Mode Select [LEGACY+UEFI] and set it for UEFI only. See if this helps.

Oh thanks! I just moved my M.2 to the second slot and it apparently works. Thanks though I appreciate a lot!
