so weird issue and wondering what happened or if I can fix it.
I was playing a game yesterday from that drive when the system locked up, i restart my pc and it wouldnt boot, tried everything to restore windows. only when I uplugged all my other drives except windows it would boot normally.
plugged all drives in again and only plugging this 870evo the system would lock up on anything. take it out and it was fine again.

I managed to get it in a workable state by plugging the drive in a different port. Can see files in there on minitool partition but cannot do anything with them, cannot format, cannot wipe, cannot delete partition.
I ran for error sectors (PIC RELATED)
It just seems dead from all angles??

How did this happened? reading and writing and hard boot? Ive never had a ssd fail like this. anything more I can try to bring it back to life?

doesnt matter too much as the drive is simply for steam games but im baffled.

CPU: Ryzen 5900X
GPU: 4060 TI
RAM: 32GB
2 x 2TB Samsung NVMe SSDs
7 x various capacities Samsung SSDs

Thanks, guess its kaput then.
Luckily this drive was bought in June 21 and found out Samsung SSD have 5 year warranty so should go through. thanks.
