I am planning on building my pc in a few months and I want to buy the 512gb 950 pro and have it as a boot drive but I have a few questions about it.
1. Does windows 10 has a nvme drive built in like windows 8.1?
2. Will my rog m8 hero alpha boot from a nvme drive and will I need to make changes in the bios for it to work?
3. I really want to get a nvme pcie drive but is it worth it?

Any responses will be apricieted.

Solution
1. Yes, Win10 has drivers. Samsung's work better though.
2. Yes it will boot from it. No you won't have to change any settings.
3. "Worth it" is very subjective. Some people would rather have a larger SATA SSD than pay the premium for a 950 Pro. It's really up to you.

That will be a great system -- very similar to the one I built the last week of December.
