Samsung 970 Evo Installation Help

Hello there. I recently got a Samsung 970 Evo that I’m going to install. I’m looking for some guidance in properly installing it, so it runs at the speed it’s supposed to. All help is appreciated, thanks.

Motherboard: MSI Z170A Gaming M5
SATA 1: 3TB Toshiba HDD
SATA 2: 512GB SanDisk X400 SSD
M.2 1: 128GB Intel SSD

It has 2 m2 slots not really sure what you're asking. We'd also need to know what was plugged where to answer

read the manual to see which sata port is disable when you use both m.2
