How much Max speed with X1/ X4 / X8 /X16 ?
Samsung 970 EVO SSD With M.2 2280 ADAPTER On GA-Z87X-UD5H Link

Right now I don't have Graphic card , but how much it will affect on it?
Any 2280 ADAPTER recommended?
With or without cooling matel?

What do you plan on using that SSD for?
You can't boot from it on that motherboard.

As a secondary drive, any use (ex. heavy video encoding)that could really make use of that drive would be on a whole new platform.

If the 970 ssd is an nvme ssd it should work well with any of the above. Sata m.2 drives will not work.Storage drives do not need a massive amount of bandwidth.

Only if there is a specific BIOS update to enable that.
It did not come with that functionality originally.

Seeing as the most recent BIOS version is from 2016, and none of them seems to address booting from a drive like that....highly doubtful.

For my motherborad i have update on the 2017 LINK

But...

I see that as a waste of money and resources.
