Bought a 980 m.2 SSD but my pc is not showing it anywhere. Not under bios, Disk management, Device manager, etc.
My motherboard is set to UFEI, Manuel says theres a conflict with m.2 and SATA2 but my HDD is on SATA1. Im honestly lost and about to return it but I just want to make sure I did everything possible before I return it because my pc does not detect it.

Even if you do get it recognized, the 980 Pro will be hampered by that M.2 port.

https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/b250m-pro-vd/Specification
"- Support up to PCIe 3.0 x4 and SATA 6Gb/ "

The 980 Pro is PCIe 4.0.

What drive is the OS installed on currently?
I have windows 10 installed on an HDD currently. I have already tried disconnecting my hdd and leaving only the m.2 in, didnt work. Used a usb and downloaded windows to see if it detects it on installation, without the hdd connected, and still not detected. Honestly seems like the best option is to return it especially since its going to get bottlenecked by my 3.0 m.2 port anyways
