Question Samsung 990 PRO Heatsink 2TB PCIe 4.0 going to fit in my Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 - Predator PHN16-71 ?

I know the normal Samsun 990 Pro 2TB PCle 4.0 fit would fit in my laptop. But what I want to know is, will the heatsink version of this SSD (Samsung 990 pro heatsink 2 tb) fit in my laptop? I couldn't find a definitive result. Can anyone who has tried or knows help me?

Honestly, there's no point in leaving the heatsink on for that SSD since there's no beneficial airflow that will move across the heatsink and there isn't much space to work with in said laptop.

The heatsinked version would be a good purchase for a motherboard with no heatsink bundled alongside a case that has good airflow.

Best to contact Acer and ask them.

What i was able to find, is that for Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-53, the SSD with heatsink does not fit.

Acer has made laptops which support 3.5mm to 5mm thick M.2 SSDs. But 990 Pro with heatsink is 8.2mm thick.
So, if this is true for one, it could be so for all Acer laptops.
