Thank you for the reply, and the challenge. I ask this, because an ASUS Rog Strix loaded the programs I have so much faster, it was like comparing a Klingon Warbird to a Volkswagen.
This Micron_2400 takes up to 4 seconds to load File Explorer, and up to 30 seconds longer to load another program whereas the MSI Katana I previously owned, was like instantaneous loading File Explorer or much faster loading other programs.
My question then is, why was one so much faster than the other? Is it the SSD or would you suspect something else causing it to be slow. The Drive has over 800 Gigs free.

It was the whole rest of the system. NOT the drive specs.

Amount of RAM, all the other things that might have been running, capacity and fullness of the drives in question, etc, etc.

The published/advertised drive speeds we see are for moving large blocks of sequential data.
Which is NOT what we do all the time. Especially just opening applications.

Consider this:
2 cars. One with an advertised top speed of 160mph. The other, advertised top speed of 110mph.
Which gets you to the end of your driveway the fastest?

I edited my reply just prior to your last posting. You make a good point by the way. It just seems this Drive is much slower than what I had before. Anyway, if you've got other thoughts or suggestion, let'er rip. Thank you again for your expertise and help.
