[citation][nom]ankit0x1[/nom]nice but just 3 feet?[/citation]
For a phone? that's pretty good. This is just for normal people who want to affordably take pictures when swimming in a tropical country or a beach or stuff. For those who are serious, there obviously are cameras for deeper depths.

Yeah, but 3 feet? If I had my phone in my pocket and fell into a pool it would be toast... Even if I just walked in up to my neck it would probably be done for.

Ya, 3 feet makes it rather risky to try to use this camera under water.. But it will save some people a lot of trouble when they drop their phones into the bath or toilet! Some people need all the help they can get.. sigh...
Eeek! Now I will definitely never buy a used phone like that.. you never know if they are selling it after fishing it out of their toilet...

[citation][nom]RazorBurn[/nom]3 Feet is all you need taking pics of your female friends in bikinis..[/citation]
ya.. until some clumsy jerk bumps into you and you drop your phone to the bottom of the pool, which unless you are 6 years old, will be about 5 or more feet deep..
hence: risky!

[citation][nom]otacon72[/nom]..lol Another day another smartphone announced by Samsung....[/citation]
yes.. a lot of people like to use their heads and decide what they want in their phone...
Not everyone (is like you and) needs to be told what they should have in a phone by releasing just one model (or maybe soon, 2 models! breakthrough!)..
Would you like to tell us what car you drive so we can all go and drive the same car? /sarcasm
Never mind, I can just find out what car Steve Jobs drove and I will know what is parked in your driveway..
Assuming you are old enough to drive..

they are 100% sure that the phone won't break after being 3ft underwater for 30 min. Which means it can easyly survie a few minutes 6ft underwater.

It's like with elevators. Official weight limit is 5+times lower than actual limit.

The screen used in the original Xcover was horrible, iv'e seen 5y old feature phones with better ones ... hope they fixed it on this one, the inordinate amount of money the original cost and to have such a crap screen really makes original feel like a ripoff

this would make a good phone for construction workers that works in mud, agricultor, land surveyor, ...

you know, all those that don't always work in office...

Don't worry, he's just one of the few iTrolls that roam around every Samsung (or Android)-related article they can find, provided their parents are not around to send them back to do their homework.
