Question samsung evo high disk usage

Hi, I have Samsung laptop 740u with the original hard disk of 1000GB.
With windows 10 it shows very high disk usage of around 100%. But when I look at the actual transfer rate as reported by the task manager, it sits in the range of 10 to 25 MB/s. The process using it is called "System".

Is it reasonable that such transfer rate shows 100% disk usage?

I already tried to replace the hard disk to SSD but after some time I get errors so I hade to replace back to hdd.
BTW, I have three such laptops in my family - for two of them I successfully replaced the hdd to ssd. This one just "rejects" the replacement (two different ssd drives).

When running with hdd, all works - no errors - though performance is not so good.

Post a screenshot of crystal disk info for the hdd.

That looks good.
The system process covers a few areas.
Try using the resource monitor and see if that can narrow it down.
Filter on disk.

I was able to ease things by stopping sysmain.

Any idea why I fail to change the drive to an SSD drive?
As I mentioned in an earlier post, I tried twice with two different SSDs but ended up with errors and system hangs.
And on other identical laptops I successfully changed the drives.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I tried twice with two different SSDs but ended up with errors and system hangs.
And on other identical laptops I successfully changed the drives.

It's a Samsung notebook model NP740U3M.
The SSD's I was trying are:
240 GB Sandisk SSD plus
PNY CS900 250GB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

(sorry about the broken format below - it's not me :) )
The replacement procedure was straightforward:
1. Shutdown
2, Open cover
3.Remove the hdd
  1. Insert SSD
  2. Install Windows 10 home edition

It has been a few weeks since last attempt to replace the drive but as far as I remember it starts with the feel that access to the drive takes very long time. I think I did see errors from Windows but I don't recall what errors exactly were shown.

Put a ssd in the machine and install windows.
Paper and pencil at hand you go into test mode.
Any errors or odd things that happen write it down.
Try to make some sense out of whats happening.
