Question SAMSUNG ODYSSEY G50D LS32DG502EEXXT is this a dead pixel or a dust under the screen ?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

I doubt that's dirt under the screen. As for a dead pixel(or a stuck pixel, for that matter), it should be a clear dot on that part of the screen. To me it looks like a smudge on the top most part of the screen after a greasy finger went over that part. I'm also lending on my assumption that's what happened as it's very close to the edge of the screen which where people place their hands to work with a monitor while propping it up after unboxing.

That being said, can you take a picture with a macro feature on your camera? That would help highlight the affected area better.

Is that the only part of the monitor that's exhibiting said anomaly? If so, even if it were a dead pixel, the monitor should come with a manual and warranty guide that states how many dead pixels you'd need to see as a bare minimum in order to qualify for an RMA process.

Might also want to contact your seller and relay the same pics you've shown here.

On a side note, if we're to consider this as a stuck pixel, try this out;
but please be careful. If you can RMA the monitor, do so without tampering with the panel as they can cite user damage and void your warranty claim.
