Hi all
My monitor seems to be having a little tantrum.
Last night, after a gaming sesh, I went to shut down the pc but accidentally hit restart instead. I figured I'd let it do its thing and shut it down when the log in screen comes.
However, it rebooted and the Samsung monitor keeps turning itself off and on, like it's picking up the display port, switching too it, then loosing it and turning off again.
I run a dual monitor set up and my secondary kept switching over to my primary when the Samsung dropped out.
But I was unable to access the Samsung menu or use the desktop to dig into any errors, due to the screen constantly changing.
I've run this set up, unchanged, for around 6months now. Never had this problem before.
The only way I've got the screen to work is to use an HDMI cable and remove the DP cable all together.
So is it likely that its a DP problem?
I run a 2070super, with a 7 3700x.
Thanks
Alex
