I've decided to use an old samsung monitor I had lying around from a while back, but it seems that there are no drivers for windows 10 for it these days. I've contacted Samsung and they've said pretty much the same. Issue I'm having with it is that it doesn't recognise the correct resolution. Rather than showing 1920x1080 60hz as it's supposed to, the maximum is 1600x1200. I'm using an AMD GPU and the custom resolution option through AMD settings doesn't seem to do anything. Anyone know of any workarounds for this at all?

There shouldn't be a need for a driver for that monitor. It should be able to work with generic Windows drivers by reading the capability from the monitor. What monitor does Windows say is installed in Device Manager? Have you tried changing it there?
