Samsung S22B300B power button

Hello

i bought a samsug s22b300b, there is a dot under the power symbol, i kept pressing that dot but it didn't power up but when i press under the dot it powers up, is this normal?

I haven't personally used that monitor, but based on your photo, I don't think the dots are the buttons. I'm guessing the actual buttons face downward instead of forward, or they might be on the back of the monitor.

Yes i own the monitor and its meant to be like that so its a bit safe from childs etc....
