My PC constantly freezes when playing games, when not doing anything, and whenever it feels like it. Some of the time I will hear a buzzing sound that lasts for maybe 15 seconds when it freezes. I put in a new power supply yesterday thinking that was it but it isn't. I have gotten a few BSODs but not many. A Win Defender Custom scan on the C drive freezes and never completes.

I built the system in 2014, so the SSD is over 7 yrs and I am thinking that is what is causing my issues. I ran a chkdsk /scan and it found no problems. It only took a few minutes which bothers me. I thought it would take a lot longer. A portion of the Samsung Magician Smart thing is:
Description Threshold Current Val Worst Value
Uncorrectable Error 0 100 100
Runtime Bad Count 10 100 100
Erase Fail 10 100 100
Program Fail 10 100 100
Used Resrved Blk Cnt 10 100 100

Do those results indicate a bad SSD?

My System Specs are:
CPU: 3.50 gigahertz Intel Core i7-4770K
Motherboard: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. MAXIMUS VI HERO Rev 1.xx
Ram: 16GB- 4 x 4096 MB

Any and all help is appreciated!!

Those SMART values are perfect so there's nothing to worry about there.

The last freezing computer I tackled turned out to be caused by faulty RAM. Have you tested yours? There's a tester called "Windows Memory Diagnostic" built into Windows if don't have anything of your own.
