Samsung SSD ACHI mode is deactivated?

Hello,

I have a ASUS Z170-K MB running Windows 10 with 2 Samsung SSD 850 Pro 256MB drives. Originally I had them set up as a RAID 0 and everything was working flawlessly until I got a Boot Configuration Data error earlier this week. I was unable to repair the drive so I ended up reinstalling Windows without the RAID. Now when I check Samsung Magician it says that the AHCI mode is deactivated and is unable to detect the SATA interface. I can find the Intel SATA AHCI controller in Device Manager so the driver is there but not sure why it's not working. If I look under Property and Service the value is iaStorA and not msahci as I've seen in other threads dealing with this issue

I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to this sort of thing so any help would be apreciated

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

By following how to geek's guide on disabling driver signature verification, Samsung Magician immediately recognized AHCI mode upon reboot.
