Hi, I recently purchased a Samsung 860 Evo 500GB SSD, I received it today and plugged it in my computer, but it's not showing up anywhere(BIOS, disk management, device manager). My Toshiba HDD shows up, of course, but I cannot find the SSD. I rebooted multiple times, refreshed and rescanned disks in disk management a few times and tried different SATA ports but to no avail. This is what shows up in disk management: https://gyazo.com/321e0c277136f560502565fe94951bfb

Help please

Solution
What is motherboard manufacturer/model name?

What model drive is it? 2.5" ? M.2 ?

If 2.5" , then have you connected it properly? - with sata data and sata power cables?
Check BIOS settings, if port, where new SSD is connected, is not disabled.

If M.2 , then make sure port on motherboard supports sata M.2 drives. It might support nvme drives only.
