Samsung Syncmaster 225BW LCD possible death?

I have a Samsung Syncmaster 225BW LCD monitor and left my place for about an hour,only to come back and find my monitor off and the blue power button rapidly blinking. Pushed it on and off numerous times and even restarted my desktop but it wouldn't come back on. Even hooked it up to my roommates comp...and same scenerio...no picture. Is it dead? I thank you all

In all of your testing was unpluginmg from the power source included ? It could also be the power connecter may have gone bad. Do you have the pwer cord that is two pieces and one has a black rectangle shaped box attached that the second piece attaches to ?
