I have a Samsung Syncmaster 753DF. Is it normal that on the left and on the right side of the picture on the screen(2 inch width, from up to the bottom, i see the pixels. And when you see in the middle of the screenn, the picture is perfect and i dont see any pixels. Is it normal for a flat screen??

Hey, As you probably already know, I'm having the same issue with the monitor. I've actually took it back to where I brought the monitor and they've sent the monitor back to Samsung to get it "fixed". It seems like you are having the same issue. This might be a general issue with all 753df's. I've hooked back my Samsung SyncMaster 750s. Although the quality is a bit poor, the picture quality is the same overall over the monitor.

Hey, yeah. I just got my monitor back from OA and they actually didn't do anything. They said that it was O.K and when we hooked it up there, nothing has changed. They suggested that the blurriness is supposed to be there. yeah right. Gimme a break. It's less than 30 days old and they want 25% restocking fee if I were to return the monitor. I just got my monitor back home. I live in Edmonton and am never shopping with OA group again.

With the exception of the LG CRT all so-called flat-faced monitors are curved on the inside, even the Mitsubishi NF and Sony FD Trinitrons are flat on the outside and curved on the inside. To flatten out the CRT face the manufacturers simply added more glass to the corners. This is why all flat CRT monitors weigh 5-7 Lbs. more than conventional CRT’s.

What I think you have is a really sharp focused monitor on the sides and a little softer focus in the center. This difference is very noticeable. If the unit has Moiré adjustments try playing with them. Moiré adjustments are essentially focus adjustments. This may even out the focus of the unit.
