Samsung syncmaster SA350 Monitor will not connect

I have a samsung sa350 syncmaster 24' monitor LED. Got it from the store used.

All it does when I plug it into my windows vista is flash HDMI, then analog, then shut off by itself. Itll immediately trun off if I press the change button. I installed the driver and firmware...same issue. Maybe graphics card but my other monitor (LCD) works fine.

I tried it on the windows 7 laptop...wont connect. Went to the setup screen for a second then went to check signal. crap.

Of course my macbook wont allow it because the driver isnt compatible.

Did I buy a hunk of crap?

i would get back to the store and ask them to check it since it does not work .

No return policy. Savers wont accept a return. Any other ideas?

been googling for this monitor and many did have issue with it you may have to open it and check the inside for burn parts just google the name and model .
