Question Samsung t5 not showing files

Somehow my hardrive does not want to show me the content of folders and it says its half full all i did was just move my laptop from one pplace to another an dnow the external drive does not let me see any content and no they are not hidden and i get error when i try to take ownership of the drive through security settings.

Is the drive encrypted (e.g BitLocker)?

Also, it sounds like a failed drive.
What Device Manager shows for the drive? And does it initialize with drive letter?

Screenshots of what you're seeing might be helpful. Where does it show that it's half full? What do you see in File Explorer? Run Samsung Magician to check the health of the drive and run SMART diagnostics if needed.
