i mean, i reserved mine... My gaming monitors died a while ago and had to drag out a monitor from 2008... it still has VGA on it.

I was going to buy the LED version, but since B&H is offering $50 off and a $250 B&H GC, i figured the price wasn't that far off. It says shipping in 2 weeks, so its not that much longer to wait.

As others have said, LG C2 42 or 48 all the way at this point. The 42 inch is lite enough for most wall arms to support too. For ~$900US no "monitors" can really compete atm imo.

I had dragged my feet going from a ultrawide 3680x1600. Kicking myself for waiting so long now though. No more fighting games to support that res too

Same.

Also the c2 42 inch and or 48 inch is as low as $899 if not slightly cheaper at times.

Shows how far prices have come down... I paid $1500 for mine at release. My 77" CX bought at the same time was $4500...

I'm curious what you OLED owners think about pixel burn in? Is it overblown? I avoided the LG CX on my last upgrade in favor of a Samsung Q90t over concern about burn in.

If I sell one of my kidneys for five grand, I can afford two of these babies and will still have some left over for other miner upgrades! :hot:

Sounds like a solid plan. :devilish:

Yes it's overblown. I've got a 65" B7, 77" CX, 48" CX and 65" C1... probably 15,000 hours of use across all of them with the 48" CX being my PC display... and no burn in.

Under normal usage your chances of burn in are virtually nil. Those reviewers parking a CNN ticker on the display for hundreds of hours and calling it a test aren't indicative of normal use.

P.S.

If you watch CNN 18 hours a day, buy a $250 LCD.
