hi, is a 550 mb / s sandisk extreme portable enough for gaming? I tried it by installing games and starting them I didn't notice lag or problems. Can you confirm it is a good alternative to the internal SSD?

games run from RAM not the ssd. all the speed of the drive does is load it into ram faster. once there, it has nothing to do with the game. that's why you don't see it causing any issues.

so long as they will load and you're happy with the drive, then there is no problem using it. thogh it is a rather expensive alternative to an internal drive.
