I have just installed Sandra 2001 and run the tests. In the Drives Benckmark (under the options tab if u right click) u can select to `Bypass Windows Disk Cache`. Untick this and u r using Windows Disk Cache. When I run tests there is less performance using WDC...

So my question is how can I disable it?

Depends on the OS I think, but I am running Windows Millennium. If I did it I would right click on "My Computer" and goto "Properties" then go Performance/Filesystem/Troubleshooting. Once you are there it will say "Disable write-behind caching for all drives".

I didn't touch it to tell you the truth. Hope all goes well ....
