GOP Presidential hopeful gives his two cents on "Enhanced Interrogation" and why John McCain just doesnt understand it.

I mean JM was only a prisoner of war and tortured by the Vietnamese for 5 1/2 years. How can you really know what waterboarding is like when you had your fingers smashed on a weekly basis.

I dont dig everything McCain says and does but I do respect him enough to understand that maybe he knows a bit more about torture then Santorum.

I respect John McCain and what he went through. Breaking someones fingers, just to break them is torture, you are right. Trying to find out the sea port that a nuclear weapon is being smuggled into is something entirely different.

One of the things that I wonder is what someone who is categorically against any sort of "enhanced interrogation techniques" would do if presented with the "ticking time bomb scenario" - say for instance there was a credible report of a bomb at the school of one of his (or her) children?
