Sapphire 7750 2 slots?

I bought this graphic card for my brother. SAPPHIRE TECHNOLOGY Radeon HD 7750 - 1 GB GDDR5 - PCI-Express 3.0 (11202-00-20G). But his motherboard only has one pcie x16 slot. I read people saying it takes 2 slots. So will it not work? :/

It only plugs into one slot on the motherboard, in the back of the computer it will take the slot it's plug into, and the one below it. It doesn't plug in twice. This is how all GPU's are.
