oc edition have many problems with hd 7770 cards that is why.i5 3470 is just 100mhz faster than i5 3450 at same price that is why go with 3470.

No it's like this: gtx 650<hd 7770<gtx 650 ti<hd 7850<gtx 660<hd 7870<gtx660ti/hd 7870xt. I think you can better ask for a complete build on this forum with your budget and what you want to do with your pc(gaming or editing)

Uhh actually I already did that I chose the stuff I need I'm gonna buy it somewhere in April now I hav a problem with my DVD drive it won't open & the icon is missing in my computer I never installed drivers for that drive the sata wires are connected properly but still it's missing what the hell do I do!!!!!!! I don't wanna buy a new one unless its un fixable plz help me out!!!!!!! PS:I noe this post should not be in the graphic card section but plz either way help me out!!

or maybe he could save money and go for i3-3220 and put the saved money towards a better graphics card like 7850 ? it will be a fruitful decision when if he ever upgrades his monitor to full hd. or he could also wait a bit for upcoming radeon hd 7790 ? lots of decisions to make here.

i would say the i3 and 7850 combo is better as games depend more on the gpu than the cpu. so your games will run faster and smoother with a 7850
