Sapphire hd 7770ghz oc edition

My processor is core i3 540 and motherboard is intel dh55pj. My power supply is tr2 420. can i run sapphire hd 7770ghz oc on this system smoothly? i heard this is a low power consumer gpu card but sapphire recomendation is 450 watt...please help...

get a radeon 7750 instead. it pulls all the power it needs from the pci ex port. and the speed difference isn't that big

The 7770 should run but if you want to be safe get the 7750 instead.

But at least 550w. I think its too high. but Manufacturer himself says 500w. so better to have some head space

The HD 7770 has a TDP of 80W. It's overclocked so I'll give it an extra 20W.

The remaining 320W should be enough for the rest of the system.

fyi in general most everyone here will answer threads out of good will. nobody will give you intentional bad answers to mess up your computer but also nobody, not even if we were there and see hands on what your components are or how they look, will say for a fact - yes, this will run. because you never know what/if something goes wrong.

don't ask persons who are willing to help from own experience to guarantee stuff because we simply can't.
