The 4070 Ti Super is $799.99 so it doesn't make much sense to price the 7900 XT at that, especially since it has higher gaming performance (14%) with ray tracing (or essentially even without) as well as far higher performance in Stable Diffusion and Blender for more professional users. Even at $100 less than the 4070 Ti Super, to me, it's a very difficult sell, though at $699 it is priced in line with its performance difference to the 4070Ti Super.

I think it's a pretty tough sell when comparing it to the $600 4070 Super, as well.
The 7900 XT costs 17% more than the 4070 Super, but it is only 6% faster at 4K (which shrinks to a 3% lead at 1440p.)

It makes sense if you play at 4K and have zero interest in RT. In that case, the raster-only charts have it at 20% faster. But even for 1440p gaming, raster-only is just 12% faster than the 4070 Super - which might not be the most compelling speed increase for the money.

Even at 2560x1440 you're having to already cut detail levels and/or use "AI frame generation" to hit 120fps with the 4070 Super whereas the 4070 Ti Super exceeds that, even when you're not using ray tracing, and that's not what you want to see on a card costing in excess of $600.
