Hi, i have problem when i run games on full screen. i get graphic crashes with my 7990 :

(Random red and black spot for a fraction of a second, flickering, etc. I don't have any problem in windowed or windowed full screen. My GPU2 temp is going crazy in full screen too, my pc even reboot sometimes. I was playing games in windowed for a while without any problems but now with Division, i run at 55 fps on low settings windowed and 55 fps on ultra settings while full screen, the fps drop in windowed is bothering me. I did a Benchmark Valley test :

API: DirectX11
Quality: Ultra
Stereo 3D: Disabled.
Monitors: Samsung T240
Anti-aliasing: x8
Full Screen: Yes
Resolution: 1980x1200

No graphic issue while testing but the temp went crazy on GPU2 which caused throttle.
My other hardware is not the problem, i tested my card in 2 different pc. 85 degrees flat on both GPU while gaming in windowed. I tried with the fans at 100%, same problem. its only the GPU 2 that causes all the problem. seems like a driver issue or something because GPU2 works fine in windowed with no graphic issue. Division, Rocket League, Overwatch, World of Warcraft and Tomb Raider are some of the games I tried full screen and had problems. I tried contacting MAD for support but no answer. Thanks guys, i hope someone will be able to help without telling me to buy a new card hehe =).

Have you checked the thermal paste on your heat sinks on the GPU? My computer had a similar problem and it turned out that it needed some more thermal paste (I apparently didn't put enough). Now it's back from the dead and chugging along like a champ.

I will check but its only in full screen that the temp goes up, in windowed i have no problem =/

I noticed that. That's intriguing, to say the least, because that's the only thing I can't figure out. It may have some thermal paste there, which it should, but it may not be enough. Fullscreen apps cause the GPU more work, so with a higher qork load, the thermal paste may not be able to cope. I recommend Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste. You'll need some on hand for putting the heat sink(s) back on.

I wonder if an aftermarket waterblock is available for this model, a dual Gpu is not the easiest to watercool and will probably be expensive. Ill probably just wait for the next gen Gpu cards.
