[SOLVED] Sata 3 HDD works in SATA 2 Mode

Hello guys my old mobo fried an i got my self a z270 gaming m5 brand new today but the problem is my hdd works in sata 2 mode its sata 3 wd10ezex from western digital and im pretty sure it worked in sata 3 mod on my older asus z170 pro gaming whats seems to be problem here

It's not going to make much difference for a regular HDD, but what tells you that drive is in SATA II? Is it plugged into a SATA III port?

well this mobo only has sata 3 ports so yeah it is plugged in sata 3

Yes HDTUNE is saying me STANDART ATA/ATAPI-10 - SATA II
UDMA Mode 5 Ultra ATA/100
