SATA HDD not detecting

I have MSI PT8Neo-V motherboard. I got new SATA hard disk but my motherboard is not detecting it when i try to install windows.

I have enable SATA FROM BIOS also.

Please can some one can find a solution for me.

What did you have before?

Essentially there are SATA drivers that will be needed in order for that HD to be detected. I had to add the drivers to my own XP CD that I got from school as part of our program. Same thing with my laptop.

I had IDE Hard Disk.
