A couple of days ago I spilled a nice glass of cider right onto my motherboard..oops.
I immediately powered it off, removed everything including the cmos battery and have cleaned the board pretty nicely with some contact cleaner and compressed air. I have tried the hard drive on another board and it works fine. Is it possible that the reset bios or something similar has caused this rather than a hardware failure? I don't really have much idea what I'm doing with the bios settings.
Motherboard is an Asus M5A78L-M
Thanks for any help. I'll happily provide more info if needed.
