I have a Asus ROG Maximus XI Formula motherboard which comes with two m.2 slots.
1 x M.2 Socket 3, with M key, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 storage devices support (SATA & PCIE 3.0 x 4 mode)*2
1 x M.2 Socket 3, with M key, type 2242/2260/2280 storage devices support (PCIE 3.0 x 4 mode)
Which slot should I connect my Samsung SSD 970 Pro to if I want to boost my Windows 10 from?
Note stats (*2 When M.2_1 Socket 3 is operating in SATA mode, SATA port 2 will be disabled.
When an 22110 M.2 SSD is installed in M.2_1, M.2_2 will be limited to an 2242 M.2 SSD.)

What are the options of M.2 we can intstall then? What would be the fastest most outrageous? and what would be its opposite and perhaps waste of money?
