Sata port question.

Im using H61M-HVGS motherboard so does it matter which port i use to connect the HDD?

No, on this motherboard all SATA ports are identical.

Thanks for the reply! I have another question... if i buy ssd for example samsung evo 850 will it work well with this motherboard ?

It will work fine. However, the speed of the drive will be limited. Most new SSDs, EVO 850 included, offer speeds around 500 MB/s. Maximum speed allowed by SATA2 port on your motherboard is about 300 MB/s, so it may work slower then at other motherboards (but still much faster then HDD).
