Anyone know if the seller is just simply completely ignorant of is this differs from a regular K series? Example i7 4930K vs i7 4930Kbx? Never heard of such thing and just wondering.

Retail vs. OEM CPUs carry different warranties (OEM is usually shorter and it can be impossible to RMA an OEM CPU in some cases). Retail CPUs usually ship with a heatsink as well (OEM does not).

Performance wise, they are identical.

Lost again so what is the big diff between Retail and OEM. I have noticed there are ES versions of Intel CPU which are not for re-sale (even though they still show up on EBay anyway) and the official release one's (on the Intel website) are the OEM one's. So how does the retail version differ from the OEM one's at that point?
