Says controller not connected properly

Hello,i got a problem with my usb game controller joystick,it doenst work properly, when i plug it in the usb port it works just for few seconds then stops, i tried to look for the problem so i checked in the system device manager, HID complaint game controller appears and says working properly, but when i try to check for driver detail it says no driver installed, and under game controller in control panel, the controller appears in the dialog and appears connected properly for 2-3 seconds then says game controller not connected properly. I tried with other joystick too.., same problem, can anyone please answer my question.., pls can anyone do reply at ram_hari7@yahoo.com, thanks

one of the best strategies is to delete all the software or drivers and install them again with the antivirus turned off. Or try plugging in the USB with the security turned off.
